Fantasies in Fashion, for Literacy Volunteers

Our May issue is long out, but here's a nice event that came too late for the mag: "Fantasies in Fashion,” dubbed a "music, fashion, and art expression show" will be held on May 29 at Town Ballroom to benefit the Literacy Volunteers of Buffalo and Erie County.

Presented by West Coast Club Life, the show will feature the work of well-known fashion designers from Southern California—names like Ed Hardy, Paper Mache Atelier, and Christian Audigier. Models will strut in cutting-edge fashions, displaying lines of clothing and swimwear, while headlining DJs Chris 3PO and DJ Silkk provide the music.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. at Town (681 Main St.)  Red carpet/summer fashion attire is required.  The fashion show will begin at 8 pm.  From 9pm-10pm there will be a Hennessey and Moet by Louis Vuitton hosted bar.

Attendees can purchase tickets in advance at Tickets may also be purchased at Town's box office, online through, by phone (888-223-6000), and at Tops Market locations.
