The British are coming!

This year the Olmsted Conservatory’s Annual Party of the Parks fundraiser has two goals. First, to raise money to preserve Buffalo's Olmsted system of parks and parkways. The second is to revel in everything and anything British.

Anglophiles are sure to smile at the menu, which includes bangers and mash as well as and nut-brown ale among other Brit-inspired noshes. Two Buffalo punk bands, The Ifs and InLite, will provide apropos tunes. Other guests will include Buffalo’s British Car Club, the Fashion Maniac team, the Starchildren Moped Club, the Buffalo Jugglers, Pyromancy, and, to top it all off, the Queen City Roller Girls. (No, not that queen.)

Anyone interested in enjoying the best British-American event Buffalo has to offer can order tickets online at www.BFLOparks.org or call 838-1249.

Party for the Parks will be held this Friday, September 16th from 6:30 -11:00 p.m. in Delaware Park near Hoyt Lake. Ages 21 and over only.
