Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad plays the Tralf
Mark your calendars; Rochester natives Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad will be in Buffalo on Thursday, October 2, with special guests Ocupanther and Maybird. The release party for their new album, Steady (slated for release tomorrow, September 30) is being held at Tralf Music Hall, located in the heart of Buffalo’s Theatre District.
Eight years after their debut album Slow Down hit stores, the Squad is back at it, pushing boundaries in the music world. As prominent members of the reggae scene, the quintet’s unmistakable psychedelic sound invigorates. Differing from its past projects, this is the band’s first collaboration with prominent reggae label Easy Star Records. The new tracks combine distinctive elements from past albums to form a solid track list.
Guerilla Dub Squad performs on October 2 at the Tralf. This is an 18+ event; doors at 8 p.m. Advanced tickets are $13 and can be purchased online or at Terrapin Station and the Tralf Box Office.
Sarah Signorelli is an intern at Buffalo Spree.
