Party On / Revelry for a cause in November

Spree-sponsored "World's Largest Disco" takes place on November 26


Every month, Spree lists special events at Western New York’s many cultural and nonprofit organizations, fundraisers for area charities, and other happenings for good causes, including those we organize or co-organize.



Liquor & Letterpress

November 5, 6–9 p.m., Western New York Book Arts Center, 468 Washington Street

Watch letterpress demos and make your own hand-printed coasters, notecards, cards, and more on antique presses. The event includes spirits from local distilleries as well as live music, beer, wine, silent and basket auctions, and more—including complimentary tote bags that guests can fill with their letterpress creations. Quota International of Amherst Luncheon

November 5, 10:30 a.m. (doors open), Samuel’s Grande Manor, 8750 Main Street, Williamsville

Founded in 1919 in Buffalo, Quota International, which now has clubs throughout the United States and Canada, provides important services worldwide, including work with UNICEF and services for the deaf and hearing impaired. The luncheon includes a program, basket raffle, and more.

Roswell All Star Night

Support cancer research by attending this annual event, which includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, live auction, and dinner. The black tie gala’s special honoree is Joan Lunden and this year’s theme is New York State of Mind. 



World’s Largest Disco
