Every month, Spree lists special events at Western New York’s many cultural and nonprofit organizations, fundraisers for area charities, and other happenings for good causes, including those we organize or co-organize. Do you have an event that should be included here? Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The listing deadline for the December issue is October 15.
Dining Out for Life
October 10, at over eighty restaurants throughout Western New York
Ellen and Steve Gedra of Black Sheep are the 2017 cochairs for one of WNY’s most beloved—and easiest to support—fundraisers. All you have to do is go out to breakfast, lunch, or dinner (or all three) on Tuesday, October 10. Participating restaurants donate twenty-five percent or more of the proceeds for that day to Evergreen Health, which has been fighting HIV/AIDS and providing services to those affected by disease since 1983. Reservations are encouraged; see the website for a complete list of restaurants. Dining Out for Life is presented by Evergreen Health and KeyBank.
