Enjoy a night of fashion, tasty treats, cocktails, and plenty of swag. This celebration of fashion features a runway show of clothing and accessories from local shops, as well as a shopping party where attendees can view and purchase the latest styles–including runway items–from vendors across Western New York, like Ceci’s Closet, Little Black Dress Shop, Brian Michael’s Jewelers, selections from Eastview Mall in Rochester, and more.

Rachel Good, runway director for Spring Style and a Buffalo Spree ambassador, has been hard at work on the show for months.

“We’re excited to help the stores style their looks and get some great models showing off what they have,” Good says.

While a student at the University at Buffalo, Good became interested in looking at fashion through an art perspective and interned for Buffalo Fashion Week where her love for event planning blossomed.

Good has since lent her talents to multiple fashion events across the city, serving as director of backstage production for Color the Runway, creative director of Queen City Fashion Week, and as an assistant coordinator for the Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week. Spring Style has brought her appreciation of fashion–and the City of Buffalo–to a new level.

“This is going to be so fun,” Good says. “I think this event will inspire people to purchase some really great items–not some bag that’s nine hundred dollars, but something really cute that you can afford and that you’re going to want to buy. That’s how it works in Buffalo; and that’s why I love it so much.”

Lauren Hall, multimedia journalist from Pegula Sports and Entertainment, emcees the event. Sponsors include All Season Rental, Niagara Dermatology Associates LLC, Winthrop Financial Inc., Eastview Mall, Spa Niagara, and Salon Elizabeth. Hair and makeup is provided by Salon Elizabeth.

Proceeds from Spring Style benefit Go Red for Women.
