Buffalo Bash

8 p.m., June 1, American Red Cross headquarters, 786 Delaware Avenue

At the twentieth annual fundraiser for American Red Cross, 4,000 people are donning their best military gear and enjoying food and drink from some of the area’s best restaurants while dancing the night away to live bands and DJs. This year’s special guest is former M*A*S*H* star Loretta Swit, and there is a live performance by Nerds Gone Wild.

Medaille College MAVstravaganza

5:30–8:30 p.m., June 7, Curtiss Hotel, 210 Franklin Street

Medaille celebrates its long history of investment in the city of Buffalo with this festive event, which supports student opportunities. Held on the Curtiss rooftop patio, the event features cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, food stations, and desserts, as well as entertainment and a prize drawing.


28th Annual Athena Awards Luncheon

11 a.m.–1:30 p.m., June 5, Buffalo Convention Center, 153 Franklin Street

This event recognizes the professional accomplishments of individuals dedicated to the advancement of women. Athena Awards are celebrated worldwide in more than 500 communities.

The Quest

6–9 p.m., June 20, Tifft Nature Preserve, 1200 Fuhrmann Boulevard

Discover the beauties of Tifft on this adults-only scavenger hunt. Enjoy refreshments from local food trucks and specialty cocktails—your admission includes the hunt, live entertainment, and one beverage; there is also a VIP option.

Buffalo Spree Happy Hour

5:30–7:30 p.m., June 20, at the Community Beer Works, 520 Seventh Street
