Magenta Magic Summer Splash

7–11 p.m., August 3, at Buffalo Harbor State Park, 1111 Fuhrmann Boulevard

This benefit for Carly’s Club at Roswell Park Cancer Institute features beautiful views of the outer harbor, complimentary drinks, food from area restaurants, drawings, and a dessert bar. Magenta attire is encouraged.



Party on the Portico at the Buffalo History Museum

5:30–8:30 p.m., August 17, One Museum Court

The event features roots music favorites, the Steam Donkeys. There are also history-related activities, snacks, and a cash bar—along with other surprises. Enjoy a beautiful Buffalo summer evening from the portico and steps of this iconic building.

Treasures Under the Tent

6–9 p.m., August 18, Erie Canal Discovery Center, 24 Church Street, Lockport

This annual fundraiser supports programs of the Niagara County History Center, including the Erie Canal Discovery Center, the Niagara History complex, and the Bond-Hawley House. Expect food, drinks, and fabulous auction prizes.
