Revelry for a cause in December

Light a Life benefits the Hospice Foundation.

Every month, Spree lists special events at Western New York’s many cultural and nonprofit organizations, fundraisers for area charities, and other happenings for good causes, including those we organize or co-organize. Do you have an event that should be included here? Contact us at elicata@buffalospree.com. The listing deadline for the February issue is December 15.

28th Annual Light-A-Life Memorial Tree Lighting

5–5:30 p.m., December 5 at CTG, 800 Delaware Avenue

The decorated tree—displaying ornaments purchased in memory of family and friends who have received hospice care—remains lit throughout December. Memorial bells and tags inscribed with loved ones’ names are available for purchase online. The event benefits Hospice Foundation of Western New York.
