Old Fort Niagara Twelfth Night Ball

January 5, 7–11:15 p.m., at Old Fort Niagara, Fort Niagara State Park, Youngstown

The Premier

January 12, 5:30 p.m., at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, 310 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls

This annual benefit for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is a winter highlight. It includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and a program, followed by dancing, featuring Party on the Moon. Proceeds benefit NFMMC intensive care unit equipment.

Faces of WNY Cocktail Party

January 17, 5:30–7:30, at 500 Seneca Street

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, networking, and an artisan shop that offers locally made items. Proceeds benefit Kevin Guest House.

February Issue Release Party

January 24, 5:30–7:30 p.m., at Shea’s 710 Main Theatre, 710 Main Street

Meet Spree staff and writers for a fun, informative evening that includes a brief presentation about the issue, complimentary light hors’ doeuvres, cash bar, and a free issue of the magazine. A small donation at the door benefits Junior Achievement.

Lumagination Launch Party

January 25, 6–9 p.m., at Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Avenue

Be there when they flip the switch at the Botanical Gardens’ winter light show. Enjoy signature cocktails and appetizers as you browse the interactive light displays.

Explore Buffalo’s Winter Gala

January 26, 6 (VIP)–9 p.m., at Foundry Suites, 1738 Elmwood Avenue

Enjoy drinks, food stations, silent and live auctions, and a raffle of special items perfect for those who appreciate Buffalo’s rich history. Music includes the Lance Tanner Duo (VIP). This is also an opportunity to vote on new tours for 2019.
