Charitable events and revelry for a cause
Come Together: pARTy at the CAM
The folks at the Castellani like to do things a little differently. Rather than a standard gala with its predictable events, the museum’s summer fundraiser is a laid-back shindig with a Beatles theme. Expect participatory art demonstrations, food trucks, sixties-era live music, tours, cocktails, and more.
5:30–8:30 p.m. at Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University (7 Varsity Drive, Niagara University)
Taste of Buffalo
More than fifty-five restaurants and at least five wineries are on hand at this massive food festival, the largest of its kind in the US. Many cuisines are featured, with a healthy option at every stand or truck. There’s also a culinary stage featuring top local chefs, live music, and a kid zone.
11 a.m.–9 p.m., July 13; 11 a.m.–7 p.m., July 14, Delaware Avenue
(from Chippewa to just south of Niagara Square)
Kevin Guest House Anniversary Celebration
Join the friends of KGH in the facility’s gardens and campus for a forty-seventh birthday celebration. A special toast to the Garvey family is planned, among other activities.

Hospice Summer Affair: Hot Night in the City
Join in summer revelry that includes cocktails, dinner, auction, raffles, photo booth, and live music. Last year, more than 600 guests enjoyed this spectacular party on the waterfront.
