Chaine dinner at Twentieth Century Club




 

The Buffalo chapter of the Chaine des Rotisseurs continued its fine tradition of arranging wonderful meals with spectacular wines last Friday at Buffalo's stunning Twentieth Century Club. The club's chef (and one of Buffalo's most well respected chefs, at that) Joe George, prepared a delcious dinner that began with a spread of Mediterranean mezze and ended with a luscious pistachio and rose water ice cream. You might recognize George's name from his many years in Buffalo's best kitchens, or perhaps from the pages of Buffalo Spree, where he has been a contributor for over a decade.

The event also included the formal "passing of the baton" from the Chaine's longitme Bailli (President) Dr. Mont Stern to Dr. Helen Cappuccino, a dedicated member of the Buffalo chapter.
