Saylor-Furman, who is active in Preservation Buffalo Niagara, coordinated the well-received City of Night event at Silo City earlier this year, and runs Old Time Roots, a historical research business that traces the history of prominent Buffalo properities. Click here for their discussion of the building at 918 and 920 Main Street, constructed in 1891 to house a company known as the Bosche Carriage Repository. At 23,000-square-feet, 918-920 has typical Romanesque features, icnluding rough stone finishes and round window arches of contrasting materials.
