WBFO Press Pass with Elizabeth Licata: Preservation-Ready/Preservation Plus Conference

Elizabeth Licata sat down with Mark Scott of WBFO to discuss the preservation of a historic landmark at Main and Allen Streets. Click here for their discussion of the building at 918 and 920 Main Street, constructed in 1891 to house a company known as the Bosche Carriage Repository.

At 23,000-square-feet, 918-920 has typical Romanesque features, icnluding rough stone finishes and round window arches of contrasting materials. Its neighboring building, 916, shown at top right and middle right, will be redeveloped in conjunction, the two structures forming one apartment complex. Photos by Joe Cascio.

Licata also discusses the Preservation Plus conference happening this week; hosted by Preservation Buffalo Niagara, the conference will focus on the intersection of preservation with sustainability, urban planning, and community revitalization.
