Picture perfect makeup and haute hairdos add a glamorous side to the chilly temperatures. Here are two looks that will take you from fireside cozy to glam New Years Eve sparkle. To show us how to get this sexy 40s pin-up girl with a modern twist look, here are tips from makeup maven Shianne Velletta and hair stylist Kristin Draudt from Fawn and Fox salon.
Fireside cozy
Bronzed, sun-kissed skin is quite the trend this holiday season. MAC makeup’s winter/holiday collection has you highlighted in all the right places. To get this sexy, shimmery look, Shianne used a tinted moisturizer along with a blush/bronzer duo, delivering a healthy bronzed glow and a radiant flush of blush. Snuggle up by the fire in this modified beehive up-do. Kristen teased, tousled, and loosely pinned the bun to the side.
Vintage vamp
Pucker up for the main attraction, the sensuous red lip. When wearing such a vivacious color, remember to keep the rest of your makeup neutral and tame. Shianne paired a shimmery eye with a matte MAC Russian Red lipstick. To complement the perfect red lip, Kristen created big bouncy waves, reminiscent of Old Hollywood beauty.
