Spree Style with Erin Habes: Shoes for spring
Enough already with the permanent salt stains on all of our boots! Buffalonians are READY for the flowers to start blooming and pedicures to be revealed.
My personal love affair with shoes comes from my experience working at local shoe boutiques like Tricia’s and Shoefly, as well as being the East Coast sales rep for a high-end footwear designer.
There is something about the feel and smell of new shoes that excites me. Breaking them in often takes what I like to call “style dedication,” but it also brings a sense of fashion euphoria once the feat (pun intended) is accomplished.
Like me, there are many women who find few things more satisfying than the high associated with purchasing a new pair of shoes.
As the snow melts, perk up with a pair of platforms; seek out footwear accented with rope detail, woven raffia, tasseled laces, or floral and animal prints. Punching up your footwear for spring is a quick fix to your winter weary wardrobe … and, girl you better work it!
