Spree Style with Erin Habes: Finally a bridal show worth Pinning!

Setting the tone with the cheeky hashtag #partyonbrides.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and the lovely creators of the Boutique.Bridal.Party have gone above and beyond to make sure that the new Buffalo bride is picture perfect.

Last Thursday marked the first installment of this annual bridal show, held at Hotel Lafayette. Founders Ali Eagen of Made by Anatomy and Erica Eichelkraut of City Lights Studio Photography had a meeting of the minds months ago after asking themselves why Buffalo doesn't offer a bridal event showcasing local wedding artisans. Being “make it happen” ladies, they didn’t sweep this question under the rug or look for others to take it on. Instead, they built it.

With that, a true collective was born, and all of the best bridal resources Buffalo has to offer—from wedding planners and creative cake artisans to makeup artists and “one-of-a-kind” dressmakers—came together under one roof. Experiencing this potpourri of talent in one place is so much more satisfying than sitting on your laptop looking at Etsy and Pintrest at home. The Boutique.Bridal.Party provided—for the first time in WNY— true guidance and resources for cool brides interested in creating a seriously cool wedding.

Check out a few of our favorite highlights from the show:

Made by Anatomy’s Ali Eagen in all her glory.

Pear Planning helped with the logisitics.

Bella Belle Shoes should win for best display. Love the use of an old pallet!

The best baubles come from LeeAndi's Bridal.

The Makeup Parlour can give anyone a flawless finish.

Rust Belt Love offers custom designs for invitations and event materials, like menus. What a great set-up featuring the chalkboard trend!

The first 75 attendees received this cool reusable tote.

Loved the Lloyd Taco guys. Their booth consisted of nothing more than all of their "best of" plaques and trophies. Brilliant.

Sitting Pretty offers luxury chair covers and cool centerpieces for rent, including mason jars, milk glass, and more.
