A robust theater season

Shea's, 710, and Shakespeare

Shea's Broadway season just keeps getting better and better and, this upcoming season delivers by welcoming FIVE of Broadways most recent big hits: Mean Girls, Come From Away, Tony-winning The Band's Visit, Anastasia, and Hello Dolly! The season rounds out with Jimmy Buffet's Escape to Margaritaville and perennial favorite Jesus Christ Superstar for a total of a seven-ticket subscription! That's a first.

Meanwhile, at 710, Road Less Traveled brings back Superior Donuts, which was a sold-out success for the company in 2011, while MusicalFare remounts its sold-out hit from last season, Christmas Over the Tavern. MusicalFare will also present Steven Martin's Bright Star, and new company All For One brings the Tony-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. A touring production of Xanadu rounds out the 710 subscription.

Tickets are on sale for Shakespeare in Delaware Park's 25th Anniversary Fabulous Feast and Auction, which features Miranda and Ferdinand's nuptials, as well as games of chance, photo ops, swordplay demos, and entertainment by Queen City Strings. The five-course dinner and cocktail party takes place Saturday, April 13 from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are available through March 29 by calling 856-4533, or visit the website at shakespeareindelawarepark.org or facebook.com/shakespeareindelawarepark. The Feast has been voted Best Longstanding Fundraiser by Buffalo Spree magazine!
