With Tzatziki and mango salsa

Greek Lamb Sliders

Serves 4



2 pounds ground lamb
3/4 onion, diced
1/2 jalapeño, diced
1 cup feta, crumbled
1 egg
1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
12 slider buns



Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Using hands, combine thoroughly. Form meat into 12 slider-sized patties. Cook on hot grill, flipping patties until center reaches desired temperature.



1/2 cucumber, seeded and shredded
2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
1 pint lebanah yogurt
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper, to taste


Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to use.


Mango salsa

2 ripe mangos, peeled and diced
1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
1/2 red onion, diced
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup cilantro, stems removed and chopped
Juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper


Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to use.


Using 4 plates, divide buns, 3 to a plate. Place burger on bottom bun, top with tzatziki, salsa, and top bun.
