BuffaloSpree.com's Recipe of the week: 5 Herb Pesto
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Number of Servings: makes 1 3/4 cups
1 cup fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup fresh parsley (flatleaf)
1/4 cup fresh oregano leaves
1/4 cup fresh tarragon leaves
1/4 cup fresh minced chives
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/4 cup pine nuts, almonds or walnuts
1/2 cup virgin olive oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
In food processor combine the basil, parsley, oregano, tarragon, chives, garlic, nuts and olive oil; puree until smooth. Add the cheese and run the food processor for 10 seconds or until the cheese is just incorporated into the pesto.
