Sounds of the City: Michele Ragusa

As anyone knows who has seen her onstage, either locally (in the one-woman show Bad Dates at Studio Arena, for instance) or on Broadway (in Young Frankenstein or Ragtime, say) Buffalo native Michele Ragusa is an engaging, immensely likable leading lady. Now you can catch her as Fanny Brice, belting out “People” and (speaking of showers) “Don’t Rain on My Parade” in a concert version of the infrequently revived musical that helped make La Strei-sand a household name.
