A laugh-out-loud lineup at the National Comedy Center

Big name comedians come to Jamestown for the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival, August 1–5

As the National Comedy Center makes its debut, nationally known comedians will descend on Jamestown for the annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival August 1–5. Tickets are available at comedycenter.org. This year’s highlights include:

 

• A stand-up showcase from Lewis Black (The Daily Show, Pixar’s Inside Out), W. Kamau Bell (United Shades of America) and other surprise guests

 

• A conversation between original Saturday Night Live cast members Dan Aykroyd, Garrett Morris, and Laraine Newman and writer Alan Zweibel, which will be broadcast live on Ron Bennington’s Sirius XM show, Unmasked

 

• A performance by Emmy and Peabody Award-winning actress/comedian Amy Schumer

 

• A sold-out show by comedy legend Lily Tomlin, whose breakout show, Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, celebrates its fiftieth anniversary this year

 

• A children’s comedy show, geared toward ages five to twelve, by the Story Pirates, who create sketch comedy from stories submitted by local kids
