Buffalo State History Department Course Free Films

Description

Terrorism in the Middle East, a course offered by the History Department at Buffalo State College, invites the public to attend three films at no charge that will be held at the Burchfield Penney Art Center:

  • The Algerian War, 1954-62: The Roots of Counterinsurgency on Thursday, February 1, 2018.
  • Hamburg Cell on Thursday, February 22, 2018.
  • The Rise of ISIS on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

All films will start at 6 PM.  Before each film, members of a panel will be introduced to the audience.  Following the film, the panel will discuss the film from a variety of perspectives, and audience questions and comments are invited.
