Elle Woods and her Chihuahua companion Bruiser bring their Ivy League smarts and California charm to the Lockport Historic Palace Theatre from July 12-July 29 in “Legally Blonde: The Musical.” Perennially perky Elle Woods is a girl who loves to be pampered and shop for the latest all-pink outfits (and matching handbags, of course). But don't let this seemingly ditsy fashionista fool you, this sorority sister is smarter than she seems and doesn't take "no" for an answer. “Legally Blonde” is the upbeat story of a trendy Malibu sorority president who is dumped by her Harvard Law School-bound beau, Warner, for being too carefree. Accompanied by a chorus of friends, she follows him and enrolls at Harvard to regain his love, but instead finds confidence in herself as she soars to the head of her class. This perky musical, nominated for seven Tony Awards in 2007, has played in London’s West End and has toured internationally. "Legally Blonde – The Musical" is set to take the Palace stage for nine sure-to-please performances.
