Next Art Opening in The Lobby Gallery @ 500 Seneca
Mar 16, 2017 to May 12, 2017
05:00 PM until 07:00 PM
Thursday, March 16, 5-7pm - Next Art Opening in The Lobby Gallery @ 500 Seneca
We are thrilled to announce that our next artist on view in The Lobby Gallery, is Tricia Butski. Her charcoal works draw on the exploration of material, process and the limitations of memory that are revealed through the distortion and fragmentation of the figure. What is presented to the viewer are images that border on horror, revealing the inner turmoil of life experience, while beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
This work will be on view through May 12, 2017. The Lobby Gallery is open to the public, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm and on Saturday by appointment. The Lobby is situated at the north end corner of the building at Seneca and Spring and free parking is available in any of the neighboring lots.
Refreshments and light snacks will be provided at the opening by Lagerhaus 95, which is located at 95 Perry Street.
The Cass Project is an arts and cultural initiative at 500 Seneca in partnership with artist, Tina Dillman. The Cass Project provides a nurturing environment for local and international artists and curators within the historic former home of the F.N. Burt Paper Box Company.
500 Seneca Street.
