The Great Buffalo Jewbilee, the first festival of its kind for WNY, is Sunday, August 19 from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm at the Jewish Community Center of Buffalo and Temple Beth Zion-- both on Delaware Avenue downtown between Barker and Summer Streets. Thousands of Buffalonians of all faiths will gather to celebrate the vibrancy of Jewish Buffalo at this indoor and outdoor Festival.
Food! Kids Stuff! Music! Israeli Marketplace! More than 30 different food items-- everything from babka and chopped liver to hot dogs and borekas- and much more- available to enjoy all day, and each food item will cost no more than $5. A beer tent featuring Shmaltz Brewery and wine from Tzafona Winery will also be featured! ( All under BVK supervision)
Music includes the fabulous Rick Recht in concert, the Klezmer band West of Odessa, and a Cantor's Concert. Also don't miss a children's wing with games, and fun, Krav Maga demonstrations and and Israeli Marketplace in which to shop.
Festival is free. Food is $5 per item
