Safetox and Head Spa Massager

gadget of the month

The Spa Massager that Mistook Itself for a Hat has three things going for it.

It is patented, it is of Italian design, and it incorporates Japanese engineering. Individually, these are all good things, but here the synergy may be its undoing. It looks like a major embarrassment waiting to happen. As a massager, though, is it a bad idea? Maybe not if you can keep it a secret, and if it isn’t so bulky and awkward that it doesn’t hurt your neck and shoulder muscles, and if you can actually commit to using it more than twice before it finds a home under the bed.

If you are tempted, then why not really go for it, and add the Safetox to your sci-fi regimen. It may look like a Starfleet-worthy headband, but it is an external motor neurostimulator that uses electrical current to relax and inhibit “bad” forehead muscles—
you know, the ones that make you frown. If we could find the time to don these items and relax a portion of the day, then we probably wouldn’t need to don these items in the first place. A quick nap would do the trick. But because we aren’t likely to allow ourselves the downtime without first spending money to guilt us into a twenty-minute respite, then go ahead and indulge.

The massager comes from SkyMall and the Safetox from France, practically the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval for all of us who suffer headaches, dehydration, and worry lines from too much airport down time. www.skymall.com and www.safetoxbeauty.com/en.
