PrintHot 5: Mid-Summer Night’s Draw

In February, Hallwalls debuted a novel new event, a Buffalo Drawing Rally. What’s a drawing rally? A chance for audience members to watch art being drawn in two forty-five minute sessions, and then participate in a silent auction where the same works can be purchased. It all takes place on July 25 at Asbury Hall, and will feature thirty of the area’s most respected artists, including Spree contributor Bruce Adams. DJ Arson Daily (best moniker I’ve heard in months) will handle the music at what is likely to be the summer’s most fun art-buying opportunity.
