Great summer weather means the time is right to explore lesser-known scenic byways


The admittedly limited data that we have on the way the pandemic works indicates that outdoor walks and even outdoor gatherings are not nearly as risky as anything that happens inside. This is good news, given that summer is upon us. While we appreciate the tried-and-true choices like Chestnut Ridge, Delaware Park, Tifft, and the Outer Harbor, this hiking feature gives a nod to some lesser known byways  of WNY’s abundant scenic infrastructure. Oh, and by the way: when we say hike, we really mean walk. Nonetheless, even for a walk, good shoes are important, so be sure to check out the fashion feature here.
