Some will say the biggest event on Artpark’s June schedule is Sting’s June 12 performance. Others may point to the start of the Tuesday in the Park shows on June 19, with Kansas. But ask someone under the age of, say, seven, and she’ll tell you it’s actually the Fairy House Festival on June 9 and 10. Last year, more than 2,000 attendees came to the debut outdoor fest, which was inspired by author Tracy Kane’s children’s book series. The hands-on two days will feature tours of fairy houses, activities, storytelling, performances by Lewiston Dance, and more. Gordon Sumner has just been topped.
