Albee on Nevelson at BPAC

Theater this weekend and beyond

The Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State in collaboration with Suitcase Productions presents Occupant, Edward Albee's 2001 play about one of America's greatest sculptors, Louise Nevelson. The bio-drama examines Nevelson's struggle as a Jewish woman in the art world, and stars Christina Rausa and Daniel Lendzian in two performances, May 3 and 4. Tickets are $20 each; $10 for Burchfield Penney members. For tickets and more information, please call 878-6011 during museum hours or click here.

As the theater season winds down, don't forget to mark your calendars for the annual Artie Awards on June 3! The public is welcome to the ceremony at Shea's 710 Main to cheer on your favorites and see if you predicted year's award-winning performances! Click here for more information.
