Basil Pesto (From All About Basil, 7-8/03)

makes 3/4 cup
Ingredients
1 cup fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons pine nuts
1/4 cup virgin olive oil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Directions

In a food processor combine the basil, garlic, pine nuts and olive oil; purEe until smooth. Add the cheese and run the food processor for 10 seconds or until the cheese is just incorporated into the pesto.
