Hot 5: September at the Zoo



Have you visited the Buffalo Zoo lately? September is an ideal time. The busy month of Zoo events includes “Enriching Zoo Animals! (Wild Workshop)” on September 3 (10 a.m.–3 p.m.; 995-6218); “Labor Day at the Zoo” on September 5, which features admission for just $1; “Grandparents Day” on September 10, during which grandma and grandpa get in free with each paid child’s admission (10 a.m.–3 p.m.); and “Art Gone Wild,” a special Zoo art show held on location at Pearl Street Grill and Brewery in which art created by zoo animals will be sold (6–9 p.m.; 995-6131).
