Description:

In partnership with the Afro-American Historical Association of the Niagara Frontier, join the Museum for their 15th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. program. This year’s speaker is Dr. Gretchen Sorin, distinguished professor, author, exhibit curator, and director of the Cooperstown Graduate Program. She received her Ph.D. from SUNY Albany and has recently worked on her documentary and accompanying book, Driving While Black: African Americans on the Road in the Era of Jim Crow. Free to attend.
