The Against the Storm Foundation, Inc. has announced Ron Hawkins will headline the 5th Annual “Rock for the Cure” at the Tralf Music Hall on Saturday, Jan. 25. The Canadian indie music icon is well known to music fans in Western New York and Southern Ontario for his work with the Lowest of the Low, the popular Toronto-based band, along with the Rusty Nails, Do Good Assassins, and his solo work as well.
Proceeds from the show will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Western & Central New York (LLS).
The Grace Stumberg Band will open the show. Also performing will be The Kensingtons, the Sportsmen’s Americana Music Foundation 2018 Band of the Year, featuring three members of the Against the Storm Foundation’s board of directors – Tom Lillis, Joey Nicastro, and Jack Freedenberg.
Ticket prices are $20 for general admission and $25 for VIP seating. Sponsorship packages are available, starting at $500
Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, Tralf.com, Wal-Mart, and The Tralf box office at 622 Main St. in Buffalo. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
