Charmed: A Bonanza Fashion Retrospective

Part of Buffalo Institute of Contemporary Art’s (BICA)  inaugural exhibition by a San Francisco collaborative trio known as Bonanza, this fashion runway show in a garage/gallery invites local LGBTQ activists, allies, and youth, to participate in a “celebration of ecstatic resistance and acceptance.” BICA presents work by nationally and internationally renowned artists. It also facilitates skill-sharing interactions between artists and compiles resources for local artists who want to grow their careers. BICA radically reconsiders how audiences can become actors instead of spectators. —Bruce Adams
