Weddings: Beyond the hall and more

WNY’s most unique locations for weddings and photographs

Don’t get us wrong; we’ve been to some unforgettable weddings held in fire halls, event centers, banquet facilities, and similar made-to-order locales. But before you decide, you may want to think about taking advantage of WNY’s most unique settings for a wedding. Any wedding planner would love to choose among Buffalo’s unique and beautiful locations—for both tying the knot and hosting the reception.

We’re listing some interesting venues here, but a good place to do your own research would be the Buffalo Architecture and History website at buffaloah.com. The word “rental” will appear after those sites that allow events to be held on premises. Some of the more intriguing properties that allow parties and receptions (you need to visit their websites to get the specifics) are the Greatbatch Pavilion at the Darwin Martin House, the U.S.S. Little Rock, and Old Fort Niagara.

And here are more.
