Looking for a fall getaway? Do you want to enjoy excellent cuisine, wine tasting, and live entertainment at an oasis that is only forty minutes from Buffalo? Get out your calendar right now and pen “Beaver Hollow” in for September 28 and 29.

“This weekend is designed for people who want to enjoy the wonderful Western New York fall scene in a gorgeous, pristine environment,” said Kathy Egan, vice president of sales for Beaver Hollow Conference Center. “It’s rustic with all the amenities of a five-star resort.”

The Conference Center, which is conveniently located approximately one hour from either the Buffalo Niagara or Rochester airports, is nestled in a private, picturesque setting. But don’t let the secluded location fool you—there are state-of-the-art conference rooms and media facilities, executive style guest rooms and a first class fitness facility.

“Meals are strictly four-star—and everything is prepared on-site—even the desserts,” Egan said. “All of our chefs are certified culinary-trained. It’s just wonderful food, and wonderful service.”

There is as much or as little to do as you wish. Fishing (catch and release), tennis, volleyball, a pool, spa, bocce ball, boating and a nightly bonfire are there for the taking.

“We don’t plan too much. And for people who don’t like to pack a lot or plan ahead a lot, there are tennis rackets and balls right on the courts, and the same with bocce and volley ball. Fishing poles, tackle and bait are available, and you can even get a thermos of coffee to take with you,” Egan said.

You can take a walk around one of the two lakes, sit on a bench or in one of the two pavilions, and enjoy the beaver dam, birds and deer. The site includes 200 acres with nature trails and jogging paths, mountain biking, a putting green, and even a butterfly garden. In the winter there’s a toboggan run, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.

“People come here to strategize and make important decisions about their businesses, and you can just see the stress roll off of them and their shoulders come down,” she says.

Because of its location—halfway between Buffalo and Rochester, Beaver Hollow has really taken off. But most weekdays are given over to company retreats, and many weekends now harbor spiritual retreats. So if you want a taste of fall serenity, call soon to reserve your Beaver Hollow experience for the Fall Weekend. Make your reservations at 1-800-964-7903, or check out the web site at www.beaverhollow.com.
