This is the third time Buffalo Spree has published a list of top doctors. Every year, city/regional magazines throughout the United States provide these lists as an important service to their readers. It should be noted and emphasized that we do not pick the doctors. This year, we have chosen Castle Connelly to provide our list. Castle Connelly also provides the Top Doctor lists for New York magazine, Chicago magazine, Atlanta magazine, Town & Country, San Francisco magazine, and Fortune. Castle Connelly has long been highly regarded in the media for its annual Top Doctor list.
All that said, we must also stress that this is just one list. Are we saying that you should change your doctor based on this list? Of course not. This list is intended as a resource among many others, and we hope that you will continue to rely on other recommendations and resources that have been tried and true for you. We would also like to note that we provided Castle Connolly with the extensive list of doctors from our 2007 Medical Resource Guide, published last June, so they could add a percentage of those names to their pool of doctors to contact for recommendations.
