interfield

Construction is underway at Burchfield Penny Art Center (BPAC)for upcoming architectural installation Interfield, which will transform two ordinary classrooms into an innovative and immersive experience. Created by artist Dennis Maher and Assembly House 150, the installation is a “densely-layered, inspiring environment within which to make and explore art.” Interfield’s construction and design is a collaboration among a diverse group of community stakeholders and will implement specially crafted furnishings, cabinets, display devices, and sculptural objects to create a one-of-a-kind functional and experimental environment that fosters creativity. Look for Interfield to open by the end of the year.
