Victoria-Idongesit Udondian

The first month-long project at the Space Between was led by Visiting Scholar Victoria-Idongesit Udondian.

Right next door to Fitz Books (read about here), the Space Between provides a place for arts collaboration to flourish. A project of the University at Buffalo’s Arts Collaboratory, the Space Between continues the Collaboratory’s efforts to break through town/gown barriers.

The first month-long project at the Space Between was led by Visiting Scholar Victoria-Idongesit Udondian, who used the space as an arts studio, inviting recent immigrants and first generation Americans to collaborate and share stories. According to Bronwyn Keenan, director of the Arts Collaboratory, “We want to bring down barriers between the arts and artists, and make new introductions.”

THE SPACE BETWEEN is located at 431 Ellicott Street. Visit  ubartscollaboratory.com
