Countdown to Waxlight


Many would call this group of  industry professionals a dream team. They’ve worked/still work at some of the top restaurants in Buffalo, and now they’re getting together to open a new one. It’s to be called Waxlight. Shown above are the five founders of this project, from right: chef Edward Forster, sommelier Jessica Railly, chef Joseph Fenush, bar manager Jeff Yanuzzi, and sommelier/mixologist Tony Rials. The five are standing in Waxlight’s space, at 27 Chandler Street. The restaurant will have a wine bar focus with a full dinner menu inspired by French bistro classics, opens this weekend.
