Walkers who pass Main and Tupper have surely noticed the large, distinctive photographs that adorn the ground floor glass storefront of the Sidway Building. The images are made doubly striking by the reflections of trees and buildings that surround them. This project is the brainchild of UB Fine Art graduate Jacob Vogan (BA 2019), who was inspired by the work of Walker Evans as well as his desire to create a tribute to Western New York artists who have continued making work during the past year.  This is also a project of the University at Buffalo’s  Arts Collaboratory, a strategic initiative designed to create an environment in which creative collaboration can flourish.
