Rob Lynch and Matt SaGurney (the Solo Roths) were the lead artists on a recent parking lot mural project at Artpark. The artists collaborated with an Artpark Bridges team led by Cynthia Pegado, who coordinated Zoom meetings with People, Inc and Parkinson’s Community to generate concepts and imagery for the huge artwork. The hot summer weather, while enjoyable for the rest of us, didn’t do Lynch and SaGurney, who work in suits, any favors, but they soldiered on, creating this massive and super playful expanse of colorful imagery. Spree interviewed the Solo Roths in its August issue; check for it online at buffalospree.com. The general public is welcome to experience the mural anytime, for free, during regular Artpark hours (daily, dawn until dusk).
