New creatures at the Aquarium of Niagara

The new creatures join the aquarium’s diverse range of more than 120 species.

New at Aquarium of Niagara: a hands-on display featuring sharks, stingrays, crabs and more. Visitors can interact with this collection of marine life in a COVID-compliant manner as well as examine shark eggs, jaws, teeth, and other biofacts. This is the most recent in a series of interesting upgrades and additions to this longstanding institution. The new exhibit, which represents an outlay of nearly $2 million, is made possible by presenting sponsor M&T Bank, Empire State Development, Niagara County Industrial Development Agency, John R. Oishei Foundation, the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation, City of Niagara Falls, and Niagara Aquarium Foundation Board of Trustees.
